To restore a mission to its default, Select the 'Restore to Default' option from the Mission Menu.
A mission can be restored to its default only if it have been previously loaded into DMC. In other case, DMC assume the mission has never been modified, so it can't restored it.
You can restore all missions previously loaded in DMC by Selecting 'Restore all mission' from the Mission Menu.
